When in 1885 the Grau family began to cultivate the vineyards in Maians, in the municipal district of Castellfollit del Boix (Bages), just next to the ancient Maians Castle – a Lombard-Romanesque building built shortly before the year 924 – they did not forsee that over time they would not only work the vine but also consolidate their passion for wines, putting all their efforts into achieving the best from each harvest.
